Delete your account.

Ready to leave Fasih? You can delete your account in the app, or ask us by email. Here is how, and what happens to your data.

Ask us by email

1. Use your account emailWrite from the email address you use to sign in to Fasih. You do not need the app installed.

2. Ask us to delete itEmail thecreativejnd@gmail.com with the subject “Fasih account deletion”. Ask us to delete your account and data.

3. Send itWe may ask you to confirm the account is yours. We reply within one month, free of charge, and confirm when it is deleted.

Delete in the app

Open Fasih and sign in to the account you want to delete.
Go to Profile → Settings → Account and sync.
Tap Delete account and data. Deletion starts straight away and cannot be undone.

You will be signed out. If you cannot use the app, ask us by email.

What we delete

When your account is deleted, we remove:

your Fasih account, name, email address and profile;
your synced words, collections, reading history, reviews, learning progress and daily word assignments;
your synced settings, audio reports, invitations you created and Fasih's saved record of your Pro access.

These records are permanently deleted when we process the deletion. Your Google account stays as it is.

What we keep

A few records stay for the reasons below:

Free trials: a one-way device code, trial dates and claim count, kept while Fasih offers a free trial. We remove the link to your account. This prevents repeat trials.
Purchases: records kept while your subscription is active, plus any period required by the store or tax law. Our privacy policy specifies six years for UK tax records. Apple, Google and RevenueCat follow their own retention policies.
Support emails: your address and messages, including a deletion request, for up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
Usage analytics: kept by PostHog for up to 12 months. Ask us by email and we will delete what is linked to your account.
Crash reports: up to 12 months, to help us fix faults.
Invitations you used: the date may stay with the sender's invitation after your account link is removed. It has no fixed expiry and stays while that invitation exists.
Google advertising data: kept by Google under its own policies. Deleting your Fasih account does not delete it.

If the law requires us to keep anything else, we will explain what, why and for how long.

On your phone

Deleting your account removes the synced copy. To remove learning data on your phone, uninstall Fasih from each device. You can also clear its storage in your Android phone's app settings.

Remove any exports or backups you saved separately. The trial record above can remain after uninstalling.

Never signed in? You have no Fasih cloud account to delete. Just remove the copy on your phone.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel Fasih Pro. Cancel through Google Play subscriptions or, on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Fasih.
